Nurture

Recently I created a series of drawings, "Nurture," for an art show at Holy Frijoles. They all portray cross-species nursing. I had mixed results with the gold marker, and with more time I would have used gold leaf instead. And with more time I would have redone the woman nursing the goat and used an entirely different marker, as this one was on its death bed and the paint in it leaked all over. Anywho, I'm unsure as to when the show at Holy Frijoles actually goes up, but it should be within the next few weeks.

School 33 Baltimore Open Studio Tour Kick-Off Party

Some of my drawings are up for sale at Avenue Antiques (located at 901 West 36th Street. Baltimore, Maryland 21211) for the School 33's Open Studio Tour Kick-Off Party tonight. My drawings will be exhibited for a week. I'll also be selling some greeting cards and postcards tonight, so stop on by and say 'hi!' The event starts at 5, and there will be live music, beer, and lots o' art (see the map below for the locations of all the art spots).

Upcoming Show!

It's confirmed: I have a show at Ukazoo Books in Towson, MD.  Ukazoo is an absolutely WONDERFUL used books store, and I'm thrilled to be able to show my art there.  Artwork goes up on Friday, November 4th, and will be up for the next two months.
